The Dark Wanderer's Journey
At the end of the first Diablo, the hero drove Diablo's soulstone into their own forehead, attempting to contain the Lord of Terror. This Dark Wanderer now journeys east, unknowingly spreading corruption and chaos wherever they go.
The hero's quest takes them across five acts, from the Rogue Encampment through the deserts of Lut Gholein, the jungles of Kurast, the Burning Hells themselves, and finally Mount Arreat in the frozen north.
As the Dark Wanderer frees Mephisto and Diablo, and Baal corrupts the Worldstone, Tyrael must make the ultimate sacrifice—destroying the Worldstone itself to prevent its corruption from consuming Sanctuary.

Act IV - The Pandemonium Fortress

Act V - Mount Arreat (Lord of Destruction)
