The Prime Evil
Twenty years have passed since Tyrael destroyed the Worldstone. A mysterious fallen star crashes into Tristram Cathedral, awakening ancient evil beneath.
Diablo seeks to unite all seven Evils within himself, becoming the Prime Evil—a being of unprecedented power. His daughter Leah becomes the vessel for this terrible transformation.
But defeating Diablo is only the beginning. In Reaper of Souls, Malthael, the former Archangel of Wisdom, returns as the Angel of Death. Having witnessed humanity's role in the Eternal Conflict, he seeks to eradicate all of demonkind—including humans, who carry demonic essence.
