Baal

The Lord of Destruction

📋 Contents
Baal, the Lord of Destruction, represents the most powerful Prime Evil. Baal embodies absolute destruction—the annihilation of all existence. Unlike Diablo's terror or Mephisto's manipulation, Baal seeks only the obliteration of reality itself and dominion over the resulting chaos.

Overview

Baal is the most feared demonic entity. Raw power manifests through overwhelming destructive force. The Lord of Destruction does not corrupt creation—annihilates it, finding purpose in obliteration. Baal views all beings—demonic and celestial—as mere tools for universal annihilation.

"Baal seeks not dominion but dissolution. Not rule but ruin." — Final Testament of the Horadrim

Origins & Essence

Baal emerged from Tathamet's seven heads—the head representing Destruction. Among the Seven Great Evils, Baal is the oldest and most powerful. Baal is cosmic dissolution itself, representing an ongoing threat to reality's stability.

Nature of Destruction

Baal's destruction is absolute and indiscriminate, annihilating Heaven and Hell equally. Methods include raw power application, reality unraveling, Worldstone corruption, and dimensional collapse.

The Worldstone Plot

Baal's most ambitious scheme involved corrupting the Worldstone itself. Success would have drawn all creation into the Burning Hells and caused fundamental reality unraveling. The Horadrim prevented this catastrophe by mere moments.

Power Among Evils

Among all demonic entities, Baal stands supreme. In raw power and destructive capability, Baal surpasses all others combined. Diablo matches in cunning, Mephisto in intrigue, yet Baal dominates in direct power.
