Imperius is honorable, direct, and unyielding. He despises deceit and subtlety. Imperius respects strength and power; he views weakness with contempt. This archangel's straightforward nature often places him in opposition with Tyrael's idealism.
Divine Valor
Valor, to Imperius, means unwavering commitment to duty regardless of personal preference. Imperius may despise humanity, but valor demands protection. This internal conflict drives much of Imperius's tension with other Council members.
Attitude Toward Humanity
Imperius views humans as inherently flawed and unworthy of Heaven's resources. Yet he recognizes strategic necessity: Sanctuary must be protected. Imperius grudgingly accepts human defense as duty, not choice.
