The Lesser Evils represent the second tier of demonic hierarchy. Four powerful demons—Andariel, Belial, Azmodan, and Duriel—command significant legions and control important demonic dimensions. While inferior in power to the Prime Evils, the Lesser Evils possess considerable influence and pose tremendous threat to Sanctuary.

Overview

The Lesser Evils emerged from Tathamet's remaining four heads. Unlike the Prime Evils, the Lesser Evils do not operate as unified force but rather pursue individual agendas and power. Competition among them frequently generates conflict within Hell itself.

Andariel - The Evil of Anguish

Andariel embodies suffering and torment. This Lesser Evil specializes in psychological and physical torture, corrupting innocence through pain and despair. Andariel commands legions of lesser demons and rules vast dimensions of Hell.

Belial - The Lord of Lies

Belial represents deception and manipulation. Master of illusion and falsehood, Belial's power lies in convincing victims to betray themselves. This demon specializes in political intrigue and infiltration of celestial organizations.

Azmodan - The Lord of Sin

Azmodan embodies vice and corruption of virtue. This demon tempts mortals toward depravity and damnation through exploitation of weakness. Azmodan commands armies and oversees infernal domains dedicated to vice.

Duriel - The Demon of Pain

Duriel specializes in exquisite agony and refined torture. Master of suffering's nuances, Duriel creates elaborate mechanisms of pain and despair. This demon commands dungeons and torture dimensions within Hell.
